There is no reason to be hopeful, he will not suddenly decide you are worth it, it will not end in a dance sequence in a cloud of Disney animated dreams. It will end in tears. Thankfully, I can rely on the knowledge that some people do get these happy endings... these Great Romances. Not for me. I get delicious Lip Balm and cute badges and pretty cards, so I can share some Love with the other lonely, bitter, bitches of the world.

Things i am over part 1

Bloggers taking themselves wayyyyy too seriously. Sorry Tavi, but I'm looking straight at you. Nice rant and all but- You write blogs.
I write blogs, most of the people here write blogs, every cunt and their second cousin who wants to intern at Sass and Bide writes blogs.
Basically- a blog is a scrapbook that had sex with a journal and a high school writing assignment and procreated something kind of like a real time, bastardized version of a zine.
Well, at least that's what I'm going for.
So I think it is a bit redundant to get so defensive about your scrap booking skills.

Quit trying to "Fix" People

Friday- Work and playing with J and S and E at Ex Nuns/Sister Morphine/My new room.
Saturday- The most expensive mall breakfast ever and intense cupcakes. With fails and lols. Also sleepovers and Star Wars.
Sunday- Owen's Birthday party which was rained out so involved jumping castles and lunch and cupcakes at my parents house. Was pretty fun. Some amazing presents for the little guy! Very tired.
Monday- Shopping with E and car break downs leading to Op Shop heaven. Finally decided to buy the white Camilla and Marc zip skirt that has loitered on the sale rack at Azra Mayya for long enough, and now is all mine for a measly $140 beans. Then I discovered this awesome blouse (lol blouse) at the salvo's for $5, therefore leading to an amazing outfit for many cheap. How exciting! Bought Owen a hooded leather jacket, pretty excited about it. Well, I am so so tired right now, after late nights of heartache and tears. Pathetic I know but in the end, its for the best. Pah! Looking forward to saving money to visit J when she moves to London.

Yes, yes yes! I am at work and i just remembered to check out the Acne AW show and holy hell sticks i am in love! Acne is a dream label, a Swedish dream. You know, I actually enjoy my obsession with all things for them sticks. Again, my pictures are from Sonny Vandevelde's amazing photo blog, which I again persuade you to visit!
Oh, acne i love you and post work I am hitting AA for some more olive greens and browns. Brown is the new black brown is the new black. Military inspired is amazing- except I think I have a perma-ban for life on camo print anything. I was a tween in the early 2000's, i needn't revisit that shit again. I am so pumped and ready for a winter of playing spotlight at night- in forest colours. Got woods? Oh yeah!

I love Carin Wester and wow, grey hair is all happening! I do like grey hair, i had a weird grey/violet colour a few years ago, maybe it's time to go back. Silver foxes all round, right?
The menswear here is stand out, the colours are fucking great and the silver leopard to go with the silver fox? Yep, that's a hunting party I would do shots with. The nude stockings that are far from staying up, slouching down the model's legs into those.... those.... incredible shoes. Big props to the men's grey and tan shoes. This all rocked and oh my freaking god, can these male models be any hotter? Seriously, my taste in men is usually described as "Tall, Skinny and sort of gay looking". Look? Can you blame me?

Better late than never, this is what I liked. As always, anything pink, but my new game- fuck black. Black can go to hell in a hand basket full of Twi-hards. Thank you world for ruining black. We will see how this conviction holds up, probs won't. I can only try. Here's the shots i like.

I love the block colours and shapes here, Minimarket is my new bestest friend ever label. I am adoring the brightness and the face paint?!?! Looks incredible! Instead of just being walking coat hangers, it's nice to see a model as a canvas for cool.
1) The shoes. Colourful, solid, with contrasting primary coloured tights? Amazing.
2) The face paint. Heath Ledger's joker/abstract
3) The yellow jumper. Big bird yellow, studded cuffs, roll down collar. Awesome.

Cheap and Express Posted

So last Friday i had a heart attack over these ridiculous shoes at the General Pants online shop. Mimi loves Jimi Ankle Stilt Boots $69.95??? Seriously? Yes. Deadly serious and no shipping and no need to drown ina cloud of hip in store. Fantastic. They arrived this morning, and while i think they are slightly flawed ( or i just can't walk in retarded shoes), and not of the greatest fabrics- whatever, they were SO CHEAP! I have searched high and love for a pair of shoes i can trash and still look great in, something versatile. Finally found, and for so cheap. Do have a look online, it is pretty handy. Alot of their stock does not seem to make it in store at Kotara, which is a bummer, especially for cheap and handy bits and pieces. So anyway, here are the shoes, in my attempt at "cool blogtography", something i am fairly shit at and i only use my iPhone or 35mm disposables. This is iPhone with the camera bag app. Super fun!!

Oh! The gym? Well..... I stayed for awhile. But, now I'm so, so tired and I think I will just stick to running around the hood. Smells better.
